Journal of Law (JL) is a Scientific Journal of Law that has specificities in the fields of Law reform including Criminal Law, Private and Commercial Law, Administrative and Constitutional Law, International Law, Land and Agrarian Law, Tax Law, Health Law, and many more. The Journal exclusively published in English and uses the Open Access Journal (OJS) system. It is a peer reviewed journal, focusing on issues of social justice and human rights, critique of the legal system, developments in alternative practice and community legal education.
Aim and Scope
"Journal of Law (JL)" is published by the Faculty of Law at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University, Gopalganj. It publishes scholarly works that are either related to or fall under the purview of law. The goal is to distribute research and academic articles that fit the journal's purview and whose contents the editorial board finds to be topical, engaging, innovative, and full of recommendations that will benefit both the legal academic community and the general public.
Categories of Accepted Manuscripts
Journal of Law (JL) welcomes submissions of manuscripts, which fall within the following categories:
Academic articles must present novel information about the field of law, analyze it critically from theoretical, policy-oriented, or practical viewpoints, and offer suggestions that will benefit both the general public and legal academics. Academic papers should have an introduction and contents that are broken down into primary, secondary, and concluding concerns.
Legal research must be the foundation of research articles, and they must methodically present one or more of the research's conclusions. An introduction, a description of the issue's significance, the research objective, a hypothesis (if applicable), the research scope, an expectation of contributions, relevant research or literature, research methodology (including population, sample, data collection, and data analysis), research findings, a conclusion, and recommendations should all be included in research articles.
Peer Review
Each academic and research articles shall be peer reviewed using the double-blinded process by at least two qualified individuals, whom the Editorial Board carefully select owing to their expertise corresponded with the substance presented in the articles.
Methods of Publication
Journal of Law (JL) is published in both printed and online versions.
